Airport Car Rental location Map

All rental car agencies at Sacramento International Airport (SMF) operate from a central rental car terminal.  Blue Shuttle busses run frequently between the rental car and passenger terminals.  This terminal serves both on-airport rental car agencies (Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz and National) and area off-airport agencies (Dollar and Senator).  

Note:  All off-airport rental car agencies pick up customers in front of the rental car terminal.

From Terminal A, Commuter or Terminal B to the Rental Car Terminal

Exit the passenger terminal and go to the closest rental car pickup point on the center island.  Take a BLUE Shuttle bus to the rental car terminal.  Go inside to rent a car or to call an office airport agency for pickup.

From the Rental Car Terminal to any SMF Terminal

Exit rental car terminal to the shuttle bus waiting area.  All busses operate to all Terminals.  Inform the driver of your departure airline.

To Rental Car Terminal from Interstate 5 (North or South)

Take Airport Boulevard off Interstate 5 and follow the rental car signs to the consolidated rental car terminal, as shown on the map below.
